Service Description
Sound is vibration. Vibration is sensation. And sensation is the language of the nervous system. Gong-based meditation has been associated with significant reductions in stress, anger, fatigue, and depressive mood (Goldsby et al., 2017). Emerging research suggests immersive sound may help entrain brainwave patterns toward states correlated with relaxation and interceptive awareness (Boyd-Brewer & McCaffrey, 2004; Lee et al., 2016). This session offers a supported space to: • downshift sympathetic activation • increase body awareness • access deep rest without cognitive effort • gently reset stress physiology Participants rest comfortably while the gong's layered tones create a field of resonance that the body can respond to organically. This is not about "doing" — it's about allowing your nervous system to receive.
