Riverbend Counseling Group

About Us

Riverbend Counseling Group, or RCG, started in 2011 as an association of outpatient psychotherapists who chose to work our private practices in a collaborative and supportive setting.  While sharing resources, each therapist has their own business entities and client management systems.  We are a highly experienced, skilled, and caring group of individuals.

Riverbend Integrative Trauma Treatment, or RITT, was developed in 2021 as a separate but connected company to increase the capacity for offering therapeutic services to the community and to train new trauma therapists.  Many of the RCG clinicians are supervisors and/or trainers at RITT while maintaining their private practices.  RITT offers an outpatient therapy clinic which employs these licensed and talented Supervisors, licensed Staff and license-eligible Fellows in our Charlottesville, Richmond, and Culpeper locations.
