Abby Salazar, MA

RITT Fellow

Culpeper Office

703-493-0107

Abby received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Columbia International University, where she adopted the therapeutic lens of which grace can transform pain and heal trauma. Prior to becoming a RITT Fellow, her previous experience ranges from residential treatment facilities, private practice, and working in-home as a Registered Behavior Technician. While Abby has worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings, she has found her niche in working with adult men and women, military members, veterans, healthcare workers, and young couples.

Abby's goal is to help her clients move effectively through stressful situations, life’s traumas, and relational difficulties in order to experience more joy and a greater sense of self. Painful events can often cause us to get stuck in unhealthy thoughts, emotions and behaviors that negatively affect every aspect of life. Discovering where and how these patterns began can help bring healing to past wounds, as well as developing new ways of doing life and relationships.
