Trauma is treatable! This 3.5 hr course will teach you how to connect current symptoms to past painful experiences, understanding nervous system activation, regulation skills, what fight, flight, freeze/collapse looks like in your office, and hands on practical techniques for addressing nervous system distress. A short and comprehensive training for understanding how traumatic distress gets stuck and expressed in our brains and bodies, and pathways for treatment. For more advanced clinicians, it will also help you better use trauma interventions for reprocessing memory such as EMDR, TFCBT, Parts Work, and Somatic techniques. You won’t be just trauma informed, you’ll be able to provide trauma treatment!
