Riverbend Integrative Trauma Treatment (RITT) is hiring Outpatient Psychotherapists (license eligible and licensed) for our Charlottesville or Richmond, VA Offices. Full-time Hybrid positions are available.

RITT provides high-quality and compassionate outpatient therapy using sophisticated and creative interventions and serves individuals and families from all backgrounds.  Our clinicians specialize in evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, Parts Work, Somatic Interventions, Child/Attachment, and more.  You'll be part of a team of therapists who value mutual support and collaboration. Our team-based approach allows for regular case consultations and innovative treatment planning.

RITT accepts most insurance, Medicaid, CSA, and private pay.

Responsibilities:

​

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions for clients dealing with mental health issues, substance abuse, and/or behavioral disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and client goals.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during times of acute need.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records per organizational and legal standards.

• Collaborate with external agencies and community resources to coordinate additional client support services.

 

Qualifications:

​

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work.

• License-eligible as LCSW or LPC in Virginia or licensed candidates interested in a training-focused, growth environment.

• Full-time workload, seeing about 25 clients per week.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines.

• Weekly licensure supervision for overall clinical skill development

• Get trained in or expand your knowledge of Parts Work, Somatic Therapies, Child and Attachment Therapy, and EMDR with our in-house trainers

• Periodic training from outside the agency. Past training has included Child Trauma Training, DBT, and specialized adolescent training.

• Support and guidance for integrating EMDR, Parts Work, Child/Attachment work, Somatic Interventions, and other modalities from Supervisors with 30+ years of experience integrating these interventions in their practice
