Stefanie Dross (she/her) earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University and her Master of Social Work degree from Liberty University, graduating with high distinction as a member of the program’s foundational cohort. Stefanie has a wide range of experience in providing trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, families, and military personnel. Stefanie also possesses experience in working with those who have experienced the impacts of foster care and adoption, intergenerational and secondary trauma, anxiety and depressive disorders, and grief and bereavement.

Stefanie is passionate about creating meaningful and genuine therapeutic connections, and she emphasizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach in counseling to build a strong rapport and promote a safe and respectful therapeutic environment for all clients. She is knowledgeable about a variety of trauma-informed therapeutic approaches and has a profound understanding of the deeply rooted impacts of trauma. Stefanie is committed to providing clients with the highest standard of care, as exhibited by her dedication to continuous education and lifelong learning. She holds membership in the Virginia Society for Clinical Social Work, the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW), the Clinical Social Work Association (CSWA), the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and VOCAL Virginia. Currently, Stefanie also serves as the chair of Liberty University’s Phi Alpha National Honor Society, which recognizes graduate-level social work students for academic excellence and service.
