Taylor received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from Christopher Newport University. She continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received her Masters in Social Work with a certificate in school social work. After graduating, she started her career as a school social worker, where she advocated for family and student needs and provided students with individual and group therapy.

 

Taylor is passionate about social justice issues and recognizes the effect of generational trauma on individuals and communities. She is a LGBTQ+ affirming practitioner, and she strives to foster a supportive, validating, and safe environment when clients navigate and process their experiences. She utilizes a person-centered and strengths based approach to inspire self growth and love, and she believes in a holistic approach to mental health.
