Tiara earned her Bachelor of Social Work in 2023 from James Madison University and from there she completed her Master of Social Work in 2025 from Virginia Commonwealth University. She also holds a minor in Family Studies with a focus in family ecology. She has previous clinical experience working in community mental health, private practice, residential treatment for adults with mental health diagnoses, and with individuals who have been impacted by trauma in various ways.
Tiara utilizes a trauma-informed person-centered approach to acknowledge individual experiences and to offer empathetic understanding. She creates a safe environment for clients to explore self-discovery and personal growth. With a passion for experimental therapies, she uses creative interventions to help promote emotional expression. Using effective treatment modalities, Tiara aims to help clients impacted by trauma find their voices and strengthen their resiliency. She is also a LGBTQ+ affirming practitioner that values Intersectionality and the significance of multiple social identities. She has a strong belief that healing is possible with one step at a time and she looks forward to helping clients take those steps. In her free time, you might find her reading romance or mystery novels with a cup of coffee, working out, and spending time with loved ones.
