Offered By Riverbend Integrative Trauma Treatment

Who would benefit from this training? ASWs, LCSWs, LPCs, Residents in Counseling, anyone wishing to broaden their knowledgebase in trauma. Trauma is treatable!

This 3.5 hr course will teach you how to connect current symptoms to past painful experiences, understanding nervous system activation, regulation skills, what fight, flight, freeze/collapse looks like in your office, and hands on practical techniques for addressing nervous system distress.  A short and comprehensive training for understanding how traumatic distress gets stuck and expressed in our brains and bodies, and pathways for treatment.  For more advanced clinicians, it will also help you better use trauma interventions for reprocessing memory such as EMDR, TFCBT, Parts Work, and Somatic techniques. You won’t be just trauma informed, you’ll be able to provide trauma treatment!

Refund Policy for Trainings: All requests received in writing via ground mail or emailed to camilla@riverbendcounseling.com at least two weeks (14 days) prior to the date of the start of the workshop/series will receive a refund, less a 15% administrative fee & applicable credit card/merchant fees which are typically non-refundable. Requests made 13 to six days prior to the start of the workshop/series will receive a refund less 30%. Requests received 5 days or less prior to the first day of the workshops/series will result in a forfeiture of the attendee's investment. There are no full or partial refunds once a workshop series begins. Please note that this policy applies to all circumstances causing a registrant not to attend a workshop including, but not limited to late arrival, sickness, family/personal emergencies, traffic problems, car problems, getting lost, work concerns, et cetera. Registrations are non-transferable and must be used for the original date and time.

CE Issuance Policy: In order to receive CE credit, you must pay a registration fee, sign in/out, arrive on time (in the morning and from breaks), stay for the entire workshop, complete and submit a training evaluation. Once these steps are completed, you will be issued a CE Certificate. Per Board regulations, we are unable to issue partial credit. Thus, an attendee arriving after the start of a session (mornings or at break) will not be issued CE credit or a refund for the session.

CE Re-Issuance: Requests for CE Certificates to be re-issued for any reason will result in a $15 administrative fee. This include duplicates, lost items, or failure to pick-up your certificate at the end of the session.

Registration for our synchronous training ends 7 days prior to the training; 

registration for the asynchronous course is ongoing. â€‹

Payments: Payments are processed at the time of registration via secure payment portal on our website.

About the Trainers

Kris SantaMaria, LCSW​

 

Kris has been providing mental health services since 1994. She currently treats individuals dealing with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, dissociative disorders, somatic issues, depression, anger, and adjustment issues. Kris believes in helping her clients to deeply learn about and appreciate their whole selves. She helps them develop essential regulation skills, and recognize and use their internal resources to help themselves. She believes we are all meant to be well and with the right support we will find our healing path.

 

Kris provides clinical consultation for therapists looking to develop their skills in the use of EMDR therapy, Parts Work, and the treatment of Dissociative Disorders.  Kris is the founder and Director of the Riverbend Integrative Trauma Treatment program which serves a wide variety of clients and their needs. RITT provides intensive training to newer therapists and those therapists looking to enhance their skills.  She developed and offers the robust Parts, Parts, Parts Training, and co-developed the Trauma Treatment in Practice Training.  Look for Advanced Parts Training and some other specialty trainings coming soon.

Tonya Ridings, LCSW​

 

Tonya has been working with people who have experienced trauma or are going through life transitions for over 20 years. She is trained in a variety of cognitive, somatic psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy techniques. Tonya provides consultation, supervision, and training to other therapists. She is most interested in spiritual support and gifts as part of the healing process. Tonya provides sessions in person and using telehealth.

Tonya has extensive experience with individuals, couples, and families and enjoy working with adolescents and others on the cusp of new behavior and understanding. She specializes in trauma treatment and in helping people work through life transitions.
