We will get down on the floor – however, we will not be moving rapidly between exercises. No experience is required. Crystal Oliver, MSW, and Yoga Therapist leads this group.
Yoga Therapy improves the following skills that assist trauma recovery:
•Getting comfortable being uncomfortable
•Sense of awareness of their body
•Sense and feel in the body
•Focus the mind

•Relax tension and distress the body
•Improve the body’s ability to switch from the sympathetic to the
parasympathetic nervous system
•Improved well-being and confidence
